1215 Steel
1215 Steel
1215 is a resulfurized grade of steel with elevated sulfur content. Although not material used in welding, 1215 has very good machinability. Screw applications are the main end product from cold drawn 1215, but there are more applications in couplings, fittings, and valves for the automotive and construction industries where it is a fit.
